After extremely successful 2017 and 2018 Futsal Canadian Championships
hosted in Kingston at Queen's University, the Canadian Soccer
Association is returning to Kingston for the 2019 edition, with eight teams from across the country, including the defending champion
Toronto Idolo. Ontario will send a second team to the tournament, and Quebec, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Alberta, Yukon, and Nunavut will provide the other six competitors.
The tournament will take place at the Queen's University ARC with the
first game kicking off Thursday April 11, and wrapping up on
the afternoon of Sunday April 24.
During this time, volunteers are needed to help with ushering,
competitions, set-up, and other duties, with a minimum of four per
match.
If you are interested in volunteering, please contact the Local Operations Coordinator, Alex Fletcher <r.alex.fletcher@gmail.com>
If local teams are interested in being flag bearers or ball kids for
games, those would also be great opportunities to be involved with a
national competition and for players to gain some experience with the
sport.
