The 2019 SOSA Annual General Meeting will be held November 24, 2019 at the Invista Centre (1350 Gardiners Road) in Kingston beginning at noon.

- Director-at-Large - Bob Machin (standing)
There is one proposed change to the SOSA Rules and Regulations (additions in red):
XIV TOURNAMENTS AND FESTIVALS
Tournaments and festivals are to be conducted as per the Ontario Soccer Association Policies and Procedures and the "Tournament Application - Conditions for Approval" policy of the Association.
There is one minor change to the SOSA Constitution to account for the fact that the SOSA delegate is no longer a member of the Ontario Soccer Board of Directors, but is now a delegate of the Ontario Soccer District Presidents' Forum.
Current:
The
President of the District Association shall be a Board Member of the
OSA unless the President declines the position or is removed from the
position by a majority vote of either the District Association Board of
Directors or the OSA Board of Directors.
In the event that the
President is not the OSA Board Member, the District Association Board of
Directors, by majority vote, shall elect one (1) of its other Board
Members or appoint a member of the District Association soccer community
to the position.
The term of office of the position shall be in accordance with the OSA's Published Rules.
New:
The
President of the District Association shall be the district delegate to
the OSA unless the President declines the position or is removed from the
position by a majority vote of the District Association Board of
Directors.
In the event that the President is not the OSA
delegate, the District Association Board of Directors, by majority vote,
shall elect one (1) of its other Board Members or appoint a member of
the District Association soccer community to the position.
The term of office of the position shall be until the next district AGM.
